2020 Death Valley

At the end of 2020 Barbara, Chu, Moon and Jerry spent 3 full days exploring Death Valley California. I mean what is there to see? A big flat desolate place? WRONG! I think we should have spent 5 full days exploring! It is a magical place from sunrise to sunset.

Tuesday December 1, 2020 we went 93 miles including sunrise at Z Point, a tour of 20 mule team canyon, observations at Dantes view, 4 wheeling to hole-in-the-wall pass, tour of the interpretive borax exhibit and finally sunset at artists palette. Home after dark to a nice meal at the Ranch

Wednesday December 2, 2020 we went 136 miles including the sand dunes, mosaic canyon, charcoal kilns and 4 wheeling to the start of the hike to telescope peak – we walked a bit to see the view.

Thursday December 3, 2020 we went 164 miles including a walk up Falls Canyon (looking for bighorn sheep – we didn’t spot any), Ubehebe crater, Badwater and a short hike to natural bridge. Home after dark to a nice meal at the Inn.
